PRE-TREATMENT CARE

o  To minimize bruising, avoid alcohol 3-5 days prior to your treatment.

o  2 days prior to injecions, avoid blood thinners such as: advil, aspirin, and all other nsaids, vitamin E, and fish oil.

o  You cannot be treated if you have any healing or active cold sores on the face. If you are prone to cold sores, please notify us 1 week prior to treatment.

o  If you have had a vaccine 2 weeks prior or plan on getting a vaccine 2 weeks post treatment, please notify us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The injection itself takes a few moments per treated area. Your medical professional will inject, massage, and evaluate the area being treated. If needed, an additional filler may be used to make sure you are happy with the results and that it meets your aspirations. Depending on your personalized treatment, the process may range from 15 to 60 minutes.

POST TREATEMENT

o  Do not touch the treated area for 6 hours! We don't want to risk any infections.

o  Do not apply any product to the treated area for 24 hours, unless it has been given to you by the provider.

o  You may use a clean ice pack wrapped in a clean paper towel after your treatment. Apply for 15 minutes every hour the day of treatment.

o  It is normal to start feeling tender in the treated areas shortly after. This can last for a few days and Tylenol is the best thing to take.

o  If lips were treated, it is normal to have quite a bit of swelling. The most noticeable is the night of treatment and day after. Ice packs and sleeping at a 20-30 degree angle will help improve swelling.
